An absolute legend of British techno and electronic music in general. Dave Clarke was there at the birth of Europe’s club culture. As a journalist, he wrote about Aphex Twin’s early releases. As a musician, he released on the legendary XL Recordings and played at iconic clubs like Berghain, Fuse, and Fabric. His techno sound maintains an old-school, eclectic spirit, still carrying the DNA of electro and EBM — which, paradoxically, makes it sound fresh and utterly timeless.
