Unknown Fate (Samuel Kerridge & OAKE)

The project Unknown Fate was born a few years ago as a commission for the Berlin Atonal festival. Samuel Kerridge and OAKE continued their work for a decade, finally releasing their debut album under this name last year, blending their approaches to sound in nine powerful tracks. They describe themselves as a „power metal techno” duo, but they are closer to classic industrial. Sometimes they lose the rhythm, introducing elements of sonic chaos and exploring noisy textures or song structures; at other times, they focus on the sonic violence of metallic sounds.
