DMX Krew, despite the name, works alone, but is indeed prolific, much like a whole group of producers. The Brit has released music, among others, on Rephlex, under the label of Aphex Twin, focusing on a retrofuturistic electronic sound. Rooted in electro, acid, and breakdance culture, he focuses on light, bouncy, and accessible sounds, balancing the rawness of his tools with pop aesthetics at times and more experimental sounds at the edge of IDM at others. One of his aliases is Bass Potato.
