A fan of classic electro sound and the owner of the Curtis Electronics label, he took his pseudonym and label name from an oscillator produced by Doug Curtis. This key component in many synthesizers is revered by the artist for good reason. Without it, the characteristic electro sound wouldn’t exist. Somewhere on the border between funk and techno lies a sound where the line between humanity and automation blurs.
