Objekt is the project of TJ Hertz – a producer and DJ based in Berlin, and one of the most uncompromising and original figures in contemporary electronic music. For over a decade, his work has defied the conventions of club functionality, redefining techno through radical deconstructions of form, rhythm, and sound.

His music builds dense, hypnotic sonic worlds: precise, unsettling, and intensely psychedelic. Across both club-focused releases and albums for the legendary PAN label, Hertz treats electronic music as an experimental field, colliding dubstep, IDM, breakbeat, and dancehall with a futuristic vision of sound and dance. His work has repeatedly been recognized as among the most innovative compositions in the history of club music.
