More about the first programme announcement of Up To Date Festival 2026

Up To Date Festival 2026 is an international electronic and experimental music festival taking place 28–30 May 2026 in Białystok, across outdoor and urban locations. For 17 years, the festival has actively supported and shaped the local scene, bringing some of the most exciting contemporary electronic artists from Poland and around the world to the city. The programme has always been curated with a strong focus on sound quality and artistic vision, rather than popularity measured by social media reach.

The festival unfolds across multiple locations, introducing both residents and visitors to diverse, often rarely accessible spaces, which for a few days are transformed into places of encounter — with music and with people connected by openness and a shared passion for sound.

The main festival location in 2026 will be Park Lubomirskich (also known as Dojlidy Park) — a historic landscape park established in the mid-19th century. Its impressive old-growth trees and classical palace provide a unique natural backdrop for the festival. On 29–30 May, this green area will be filled with music from around the world, transforming the park into a vibrant space for meetings, dancing and shared sonic experiences.

Two festival stages will be set up here: Music is Everything and FOMO_, each with its own distinct character, aesthetic and philosophy.

Music is Everything is a stage that celebrates freedom, energy and the joy of being together — an open, welcoming space where music becomes an impulse for dancing, playfulness and spontaneous encounters. The programme will feature hybrid experiments at the crossroads of modern dubstep, timeless IDM and futuristic breakbeat, complemented by fresh interpretations of club techno.

FOMO_, on the other hand, is aimed at listeners seeking deeper and more intense sonic experiences — from contemplative, hypnotic techno to raw, rhythm-driven forms focused on pulse and trance. Both stages are known for their distinct visual identity and top-tier sound systems, a hallmark of the festival for years. Ambient gatherings will also play an important role, taking place both during the opening concert at Galeria Arsenał Elektrownia and as part of the Central Ambient Salons, offering space for more intimate and contemplative listening.

In the first programme announcement of Up To Date Festival 2026, unconventional rhythms and bass-driven diversity take centre stage. The Music is Everything stage will host IDM pioneer µ-Ziq, who will take the audience on a journey through inspirations spanning over 30 years of electronic music, as well as Verraco from South America, bringing deconstructed, bass-heavy dembow rhythms.

From closer — western — borders, Skee Mask, known for his innovative releases on Ilian Tape, will also visit Białystok, alongside DJ Plant Texture (live). While the latter has explored jungle hybrids over the past decade, his recent work increasingly leans towards hypnotic techno built on repetitive rhythms characteristic of Berlin’s club scene. Local artists will also be represented — shhron b2b Adnable bring together two distinct visions of club music, firmly rooted in bass-driven sounds. Their sets thrive on a multi-genre approach and a shared urge to constantly push forward, digging for fresh, forward-thinking tracks that keep the floor moving.

FOMO_ is not only a stage at Up To Date Festival, but a multidimensional artistic platform, encompassing a record label, a podcast series and a mobile stage, offering space for artists operating outside the mainstream of electronic music. During the festival, FOMO_ will appear in two distinct formats.

One of them will be the mobile stage housed in a truck with a distinctive black container, parked for two days in Park Lubomirskich. It’s a curated highlight for fans of avant-garde, deep techno, which in 2026 will lean more clearly towards the classic 4×4 rhythm.

Behind the container decks will be artists representing the most exciting and uncompromising currents in contemporary techno. Local artist Mateusz Grzybowski (live) will make his festival debut. The stage will also host Objekt, who has built a reputation as one of the most electrifying DJs of his generation. His sets balance raw intensity with razor-sharp precision, driven by technique, instinct and a direct connection with the crowd, freely cutting across genres and tempos in search of that unpredictable, living dancefloor energy. Laura MRLS, known for her heavy, synthesiser-driven, no-compromise techno, will pull the audience into another dimension, while Aerae b2b Presha, blending modular synths with powerful breakbeat rhythms, will push the room into a high-energy trance.

On Thursday, 28 May, FOMO_ will take over Galeria Arsenał Elektrownia as a comprehensive audio-visual event. The first artist announced for this night is Paul Jebanasam (live) — an artist working with poetic, dense structures of textural noise, creating intense and contemplative sonic experiences.

There would be no Up To Date Festival without the Central Ambient Salon, which this year will for the first time take place in the industrial spaces of Galeria Arsenał Elektrownia. The first artist announced for these iconic, contemplative events is Martina Bertoni — a Berlin-based experimental cellist and composer.

After five years of close collaboration, Electrum and the Pogotowie Kulturalno-Społeczne Association are closing a shared chapter in the festival’s history. Electrum will no longer be the title sponsor of Up To Date Festival. This decision marks a natural conclusion to the current phase of cooperation, during which both parties achieved shared goals. We are grateful to Electrum for years of partnership, trust and energy, which allowed us to create not only the Up To Date Festival, but also a range of social initiatives under the #dontworrybeyourself platform.

Up To Date Festival is not just about music events, but a carefully designed, immersive experience — one that, as highlighted in recent reviews, stands out for its exceptional attention to sound, space and atmosphere. It’s a festival where music is not only listened to, but experienced — in movement, in focus and in community.

We invite you to Białystok on 28–30 May 2026!
