Czwarty Syberyjski Salon Ambientu at the Sybir Memorial Museum

The Sybir Memorial Museum and Up To Date Festival present the Fourth Siberian Ambient Salon – a unique event where sound meets history and spaces of memory.

This year’s edition will take place for the first time in the museum’s main exhibition hall – a space spanning over two thousand square meters, telling the story of Poles in Tsarist Russia and the Soviet Union. The exhibition guides visitors through a microcosm of everyday life, suddenly interrupted by war, violence and deportation – experiences that marked entire generations.

Within this space, artists will present a musical selection that does not illustrate history directly, but resonates as its emotional echo. Sound becomes a tool for attentive listening to the stories embedded in objects, images and the architecture itself. Ambient creates a dialogue between matter and memory – between the silence of the museum and the living, breathing fabric of sound. Subtle textures, long reverberations and gradual shifts invite listeners to pause and enter a state of deep focus.

The Fourth Siberian Ambient Salon offers a new way of experiencing the exhibition – where music and history intertwine, creating a space for reflection on the lives of those whose fate became inseparably tied to the East.

Pruski live (Cisza)
Paweł Pruski is a composer and producer working at the intersection of ambient, drone and experimental electronics. Using a custom-built modular system, he creates hypnotic, immersive sound structures. His performances combine controlled improvisation, organic textures and subtle synthetic layers, presented at festivals and cultural institutions worldwide.

Dtekk (Up To Date Festival)

Jędrzej Dondziło – DJ, promoter and artistic director of Up To Date Festival. For over two decades, he has been actively shaping the Polish club and ambient scene. His vinyl sets move between techno, electro, ambient and experimental music, blending deep artistic exploration with a genuine connection to the audience.

About Ambient Salons

Ambient Salons is a nationwide series initiated in 2014 by Up To Date Festival, dedicated to contemplative and experimental music. The events take place in clubs, cultural institutions and outdoor spaces, always within carefully curated “Silent Zones.”

More than concerts, they are multisensory experiences – combining sound with space, light, scent and other art forms such as film and exhibitions.
