CARRIER LIVE

Carrier is one of the aliases of Guy Brewer, an artist you probably all know as Shifted and co-founder of the Avian label. His last decade or so has been a constant influence on the shape of the truly underground techno scene from the British Isles. Today, however, Guy lives in Antwerp, where he experiments in other fields. As Carrier, he gives vent to his fascination with minimalist sounds and the limits to which electronic music rhythms can be bent. Echoes of abstract drum & bass also recur in his raw IDM, which should come as no surprise. After all, years ago he was a member of the Commix project. The live set at Up to Date Festival 2024 will be an absolute premiere!
