Salon Ambientu

The event series Salony Ambientu started in 2014 as a way to collectively experience ambient music in intimate surroundings. 

The consequence in putting on these events was met with acclaim from the audience and let us present them also in other cities across Poland. So far, we’ve put on dozens of them, being hosted in clubs, cultural institutions and open air locations such as The Sybir Memorial Museum, Teatr Powszechny, Branicki Palace or the Luna cinema. This series unique characteristics are not only thanks to music and the artists exploring ambient, IDM, noise and other sonics experiments. A Salon Ambientu is something more.

A Salon is an escape from reality and a chance to enter the world of contemplation. Speaking is prohibited, so everyone can fully focus on the music and their own feelings. The space is made comfortable with special rugs, pillows and appropriate lighting. These are unique experiences, we also take care of scents, creating an experience for almost all the senses.

The culmination of all the events through the year is Centralny Salon Ambientu happening each year at the Up to Date Festival. Rich history of these events is proof that the possibility to meditate on music before the festival starts is of huge value for everyone attending the festival.

Salony Ambientu are still evolving. Each takes a different, unique character to surprise and attract new fans as well as delighting fans of music. The concerts are often presented together with inspiring, discussion-starting film projections, exhibitions, workshops or reports from far away Siberia.
