Ambient is something perfectly well known to a certain group of people, but looking at a wider audience, the concept of atmospheric music is not easily recognized. The thought of presenting it to a broader public gave birth to the Ambient Park project. We have chosen to realize it in the Planty park in Bialystok. The decision was not a random one – all in all ambient is a genre inspired by the nature surrounding us. We are throwing in a bunch of attractions for literally everyone. Family-friendly mini events from Wojewódzki Ośrodek Animacji Kultury, a multimedia installation from Osmo and breath-taking park illumination will create a harmonic fusion with the music. At noon, soft audio will start flowing through the park’s alleys, relaxing and preparing us for the evening’s main concerts.

Parents with children will have a chance to take part in the inspiring educational art activities created and delivered by WOAK. After dusk we will see Ambient Park in full effect, our local ambient ambassador Wounds will appear on the stage followed by the star of the night – Robert Henke Live!
The visit of Robert Henke is a result of the Up To Date crew’s dreams and lengthy preperations from the artist himself. Exclusively for us, he has prepared an ambient live act using surround technology, based on the park’s topography. This will never happen again, it is a chance no one can miss! Information about the legendary and constantly groundbreaking pioneer Robert Henke aka Monolake can be found in the artist section of our webpage. The evening’s performances will be accompanied by a multimedia installation created by an audiovisual wizard Osmo, modern dances from the DanceOFFnia studio and inventive performances by Rada Puchaczy. Lets get ready for an abundance of magnificent sounds and astonishing visuals.
